The community garden
Construction has started on a new community garden for fresh produce, shade and community learning — a teaching plot built with the residents who will tend it. Volunteer days are announced on the news page.

H.E.R.S. — Homeless Engagement Request System
A GIS web and mobile tool, built with GISCorps and the SPA 6 Homeless Coalition, that lets LA County residents request an outreach team for an individual, a young person or a family experiencing homelessness.
How it works
MTA — Market, Train, Assist
Youth-designed outreach at the hotspots where homeless youth gather, because the number one reason young people stayed on the street was not knowing that youth services existed.

Resource fairs & food distribution
