Counseling and wellness services are now reaching more neighborhoods to support local families. Through the United Mental Health Promoters program with the LA County Department of Mental Health, trained community members are running workshops on emotional wellbeing and stress, stigma reduction, addiction and mental wellness, and family violence prevention — in the languages families actually speak.
