Good Seed specializes in providing creative and innovative outreach activities to attract and engage youth

We partner with entities such as 211, a local information and referral service, to direct youth to emergency shelters and services in Los Angeles County. Our partnership includes the MTA (Market, Train, Assist) Project which advertises in spaces where homeless youth gather. Check out this link to our bus rider campaign ( ) launched in partnership with Antelope Valley Transit, City of Carson, Glendale Transit, Norwalk Transit, and Santa Clarita Transit that is currently running on buses in and around Los Angeles County.

Construction Apprentice Program (CAP) – homeless youth and those at risk for homelessness are able to participate in our construction apprentice program. With us, they learn tangible, marketable skills along with on the job training. With supervision and training from licensed contractors and subcontractors, our apprentices earn while they learn. With assistance, additional coursework and instruction, they will transfer these skills to full time jobs and/or businesses of their own.
